Dr Lisa Dethridge is a media and communications professional with over twenty years of experience, including editing and scriptwriting.

Lisa has worked in New York, Hollywood and Australia and her clients include Twentieth Century Fox, Warner, CBS, and MTV. Lisa has taught media communications at UCLA, The American Film Institute, New York University, and RMIT University in Melbourne, which is where we caught up with her.

Lisa has written a book – Writing Your Screenplay – and she is author of The Australian Film, TV and Radio School (AFTRS) Online Screenwriting program. She holds a PhD in Media Ecology from New York University and works with the highly reputable Screenwriting Program in the school of Creative Media at RMIT.
